It is the desire of the employees of the Newton County Sheriff's Office to provide to the citizens of Newton County a quick response to their complaints and calls for assistance.
To be involved with the citizens and communities located in Newton County in a joint effort to keep their county safe.
To patrol the highways within Newton County, enforcing state laws and County Ordinances. To render assistance to those individuals who use those roadways when they experience problems.
It will be the Sheriff's Offices Job to actively investigate and pursue all leads in cases where a crime has been committed against a person or property of a citizen of Newton County, as well as those who pass through.
Employees of the Sheriff's Office will continually strive to improve themselves by attending training that will ultimately affect the performance of those individuals sworn to protect the citizens of Newton County.
The Sheriff's Office, along with the input from the citizens of Newton County, can and will continue to make Newton County a great place to live and raise their family.
